Blue Heron Park Visitor Center, 222 Poillon Avenue near Amboy Road

Take Hylan Blvd. to Poillon. On the corner of Hylan and Poillon there is a Greenside Up Nursery sign. Coming south from Great Kills, turn right onto Poillon; coming north from Huguenot, it is a left hand turn, toward Amboy Road. You will pass a few houses on both sides of the street, a wooded area, then a pond (Spring Pond), another stretch of woodlands, and then you will see the entrance gate on the left hand side to the Blue Heron Nature Center and the parking lot.
